Come out and play one of the only 18-hole championship courses serving Napa Valley’s general public with today’s feature: $24 for 18 Holes with Cart at Napa Golf Course in Napa ($49 Value. Expires May 31, 2012.)

Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park came about in 1968 from the creative minds of both Jack Fleming and Bob Baldock. They've been the architects of US Open Championship courses, as well as some of the best post-war western course designs.

Having hosted qualifying for the Kaiser Invitational and the US Open, Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park is no stranger to championship play. This par-72 course stands at a fair 6,738 yards from the tips, with a course/slope rating of 72.3/123 and promises to be just as playable as it is challenging. The course features four sets of tees so whether you’re a weekend warrior or a scratch golfer, you'll have plenty of shot-making possibilities and unique challenges on each of its 18 holes.

This wet Napa Valley gem has water on a majority of the holes in its layout. Although this course is considered a traditional design, don’t let it fool you. Napa Valley's got plenty of challenging features — such as water carries, tricky bunker placements and some classic small greens — to bring out your creativity.

You’ll start off on the medium-length par-4 No. 1, which doglegs right with bunkers inside and outside of the dogleg, challenging tee shot placement. Depending on your tee shot you’ll have the option to try to reach the green in two if you can play a premium fairway shot over the bunkers that guard the right and left sides of an uphill green.

Moving onto the back nine, you’ll have the chance to play a signature hole of sorts in Napa Valley’s par-4 No. 10. After you pipe a solid drive down a narrow fairway, you’ll be faced with an old oak tree that wards off any simple long approach shot to the green. You’ll have to decide to club up or down based on distance and elevation — and did we mention there’s water both left and right of this tree?

Whether you’re purchasing a sleeve of balls or feeling out a new driver, the golf shop at Napa Golf Course will provide you with the insight you need and all of the top names in golf that you demand. Furthermore, be sure to swing by their practice facility, which offers around 10,000 square-feet of putting/chipping greens as the perfect complement to its full-featured driving range.

Come make your mark at this rich piece of the Napa Valley’s golf tradition — its storied past surely deserves a play!
